At the start of the year, I recorded an interview for someone else’s podcast and one of the questions I was asked was “What marketing trends do you foresee for 2022?” – and I immediately said “community”.
I really believe that the appetite and need for community has grown over the last 2 years and will only increase in the future. People want to feel part of something. People want to have greater connections than ever before. And that’s why I’ve been speaking about it with my clients so much recently.
The truth is that you need to be building community within your business – and I believe that a mistake that a lot of business owners make is that they put building community SECOND on their list of priorities.
The good news about building – and nurturing an existing – community is that it really does all come down to your messaging so if you can get that right, you’re there.
