How do you differentiate yourself from the others in your niche? How do you make sure YOUR ideal clients see you as THEIR ideal service provider?
There are two things you can do for free to help you start to stand out online. 1) be niched down and 2) craft a strong brand identity for yourself.
But even if you have your niche identified, your ideal client locked down, and your strong brand identity created – you still need people to actively choose YOU over someone else, right?
One way you can do this? Hone in on your USP – your Unique Selling Point.
Now I know what you might be thinking: “I’m a service provider with a personal brand, isn’t a USP just for a product?!”
The answer is no!
Just like if you were selling a product, as a service provider your USP is what makes you unique. It’s what makes you different from the other service providers who offer the same service as you.
It’s what stands you out from the crowd.
A really great way of defining and digging into your USP is to think about your HOW.
If your ‘why’ is why you do what you do, then your ‘how’ is how you do it.
